To my beloved Sadie kins, AKA: Sadie lady, licky lulu and
“girlfriend” you are so very missed.
You didn’t have the best start in life. The pound didn’t have much hope that
you would be able to be adopted, but you chose to let your guard down for that
boy who wanted a dog for his 4H project. You sat on his lap and gave him lots
of love. You won ours hearts that day by not knowing what personal space meant
and by letting your boxer personality shine through. You made us laugh with all
of your antics. You even got approval from the big man, dad! That’s how we knew
you were for us!
Our lives will furever be changed without you. You were the best protector of
your family. No sweeper, swifer, laser, pumpkin roll and towel, power tool or
measuring tape would harm us while you were with us.
You loved those you “knew” with your whole heart! Grams, Jerika, Bebe, Izzy,
aunt Melissa, Amber, Turner, Eden and of course the most favorite “your boy”,
will miss your over the top greetings. Which included but weren’t limited to
wet kisses, whines of joy, tippy taps and wall banging kid whacking tail wags.
Your boy will never be as clean as he was when you were around.
I will miss those slobbery dipping water bowl leg licks more than I thought I
would.
